האידיאל הוא להעביר את הכוח המיני למישורים גבוהים יותר

Le véritable renoncement ne doit pas être une privation, mais une transposition dans un autre plan. C’est la même activité qui continue, mais orientée vers les plans supérieurs. Il ne faut pas se priver, il ne faut pas renoncer, mais seulement déplacer, c’est-à-dire faire en haut ce qu’on faisait en bas : au lieu de boire de l’eau d’un marécage, symboliquement parlant, boire l’eau d’une source pure, cristalline.
