The text in English and French will follow:מחשבה ליום רביעי 5 בפברואר 2020החברה זקוקה למרכז נשגב כדי לנוע סביבורבים האנשים שמאמינים כי העיקר הוא לעבוד לטובת החברה, וכי אין כל חשיבות לאמונה באלוהים. ובכן, הם טועים, כי לאחר זמן-מה החברה הזו שאיבדה את אמונתה באלוהים - תידרדר. מכיוון שלא תהיה להם במרכז החברה, נקודה נשגבת שאפשר לפנות אליה, בני האדם יחדלו להיות יצורים חברתיים מושלמים: תאוות הבצע, הדעות הקדומות וחוסר הצדק יתגנבו לתוכם. בסופו של דבר כל החברות קרסו משום שלא הייתה להם נקודה מרכזית ואיתנה בכדי למנוע התפתחות של כוחות שליליים. כאשר חברה חיה במודעות לקיומו של עולם עליון, כוח רב מתחיל להסתובב בתוכה, וכך כל היסודות המזיקים נסחפים, ואז יש הרבה יותר אפשרויות לקבוע חוקים הוגנים התורמים לרווחה של כולם. אך כאשר האינטנסיביות הרוחנית מתחילה לרדת, היא מעוררת כוחות שליליים, ולכן, משום שהדבר המאיים עליהם נעלם, הם פולשים לכל התחומים. אם קיימים כל כך הרבה מאורעות רעים על פני האדמה, הסיבה לכך היא שבני האדם אפשרו לתודעת האלוהות להיחלש בתוכם ובחברה מסביבם.

la Société a besoin d’un centre sublime autour duquel tournerBeaucoup pensent que l’essentiel, c’est de travailler au bien de la société, et qu’il est sans importance de croire en Dieu. Eh bien, ils se trompent, parce qu’au bout d’un certain temps cette société sans Dieu dégénérera. Comme elle n’aura pas, au centre, un point sublime autour duquel tourner, les humains cesseront d’être des créatures sociales parfaites : il se glissera en eux de la cupidité, du parti-pris, de l’injustice. Toutes les sociétés qui n’ont pas eu un point solide auquel s’accrocher pour empêcher les forces négatives de se développer ont fini par s’effondrer. Quand une société vit avec la conscience de l’existence d’un monde supérieur, il circule en elle une telle force que tous les éléments nocifs sont balayés, et il y a alors beaucoup plus de possibilités d’établir des lois équitables qui concourent au bien-être de tous. Mais quand l’intensité spirituelle commence à baisser, il s’éveille des forces négatives qui, plus rien ne les menaçant, envahissent tous les domaines. Si tellement de maux existent sur la terre, c’est parce que les humains ont laissé s’affaiblir en eux et dans la société la conscience de la Divinité.

Many people think that it does not matter whether or not …Many people think that it does not matter whether or not you believe in God; what matters is to work for the good of society. Well they are wrong, for a society with no God inevitably degenerates after a while. If it has no centre, no sublime core around which to revolve, its members soon cease to be perfect social creatures, and greed, prejudice, and injustice creep in and corrupt. Every society that has not been solidly attached to a firm central axis has ended by being overcome and destroyed by the negative forces. When a society lives in the awareness of a higher world, it is permeated by such powerful forces that all negative elements are swept away and it is possible to establish just laws that contribute to the welfare of all its citizens. But as soon as this spiritual intensity wanes, negative forces begin to stir and, finding themselves unopposed, invade every aspect of life. If so many evils exist on earth today, it is because human beings have allowed the consciousness of the Divine to fade within themselves and from society.
